Ceramic veneers have established themselves as a serious treatment alternative alongside the more classic and invasive forms of restoration. The originally purely labial and aesthetic treatment with veneers has become much more versatile: it does not always have to be a crown. The first differences are the labial veneers with different perimeter or different preparation geometries and secondly the functional veneers on the palatinade surfaces of the canines. The Perfect Veneer Preparations (PVP) set 4686/ST, developed with Priv.-Doz. Dr. Ahlers and Prof. Dr. Edelhoff, covers all types of veneer.

Veneers last much longer when preparation takes place in the enamel and thus a safe adhesive connection is guaranteed: therefore the depth marking is immensely important.

This is where the deep marker starts with an unoccupied guide pin. Even if positioning is too steep, it prevents the intended penetration depth from being exceeded.
The set is clearly structured and additional information materials, which are summarized in the PVP brochure or in the comet store in a separate theme world, provide valuable information about the extensive topic of ceramic veneers.

In order to be able to work approximal minimally invasively, suitable sound peaks have been
developed. They will be available from summer 2019.
The perfect addition to occlusion onlays (i.e. “veneers” in the posterior area) is the 4665/ST occlusion onlay set.
